TWMPATH! Welsh Dance Off A3 risograph print
🏴 TWMPATH! Come and join the celebration. 🏴
TWMPATH (Welsh word literally meaning “hump” or “tump”, named after the village green or mound where communities would gather to play music and dance), it was super cool getting to learn about this style of barn dance which is now experiencing a well deserved revival due to talented musicians and dancers across Wales.
This was such a fun illustration to do, originally made for Refugee Week celebrations and activities at Theatr Clwyd, and featuring traditional dances from Syria and Ukraine as well as Welsh dancers.
25% of each sale goes to support the work of the Welsh Refugee Council. Diolch!
