One of the highlights of my creative exploration was the Dragonfly Diaries print series, born during a residency at the Guanlan Printmaking Base in China amidst the lively Spring Festival/Lunar New Year celebrations in 2019. These prints delve into the concept of "Hiraeth," a Welsh term I've translated as an environmental yearning—an expression of curiosity and concern for our beautiful planet.
My work is an ode to my love for travel and a simple, playful curiosity about the world. Inspired by my obsession with printmaking and a cherished collection of vintage children's books and Soviet-era design, my illustrations aim to capture the essence of wonder and imagination.
I'm constantly learning and evolving, and my art is a humble reflection of my journey—a journey fueled by curiosity, a love for the craft, and a deep appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us.
Thanks for joining me on this creative adventure!
